You can fish our main lake “Gowganda” or experience new scenery
and fishing opportunities everyday of your stay on a different lake.
We offer boats on Gowganda Lake as well as 5 remote lakes
for the more adventurous.
 

Gowganda Lake :
                                                                       Stretching out over 35 miles
                                                                       of scenic shoreline Gowganda Lake
                                                                       provides great fishing for Northern Pike,
                                                                       Small mouth Bass, Walleye and Lake
                                                                       Trout. You can also catch the odd
                                                                       Perch and Whitefish.

Obushkong :

                  Obushkong is just a short drive / boat ride / and portage away from Gowganda. This is one of my favorite
                                                             Lakes and is worth the trip just for the scenic boat ride.
                                                                                            Obushkong is home to
                                                                                                Small mouth Bass,
                                                                                                       Walleye,
                                                                                                          And
                                                                                                  Northern Pike

  Wapus River:


                                                       This is another scenic favorite of mine. While traveling this paradise keep your
                                                       eyes open as you never know when you could see a moose coming to the
                                                       Rivers edge for a drink. The Wapus river is a good place to catch Walleye,
                                                       Small mouth Bass, or Pike.





 

Stumpy Lake:
Stumpy is another great Walleye lake just a short 4-wheel drive away from the town of Gowganda.
Stumpy is also on the Montreal River system and feeds into Gowganda Lake.

Elkhorn and Hanging stone Lakes:
These are both fun lakes to enjoy a family day of awesome small mouth fishing and a mid-day picnic
On shore or on one of Elkhorn’s private islands. Getting to Elkhorn is just half of the fun.
